Jewellery installation, Le Pavillon Corbusier, Paris, October 2013

This installation represents a miniature Chinese factory made of 125 workers mounted as earrings. This piece was inspired by a blog’s images showing the inhuman reality of thoses workspaces. These pictures are absolutely significant and representative of globalization and mass production’s influences unto human’ s working conditions. By creating jewels which represent his original labour, I want to question the making process of the objects which surround us, as well as our consumer’s behaviour regarding their origin.
